Had Non-painful White Head Pimple On Labia. Popped It. Worry?
I have had a non-painful white head pimple on my labia for the past 3 years. I ve popped it once and it came back. It doesn t hurt and it doesn t grow in size. I ve seen my gyno on a number of occasions since it s developed on she never mentioned anything about it so I m not worried it s an STD . I would like to get rid of it for good, any suggestions?
Hi there. From your description, it does appear like a 'molluscum contagiosum' affliction. It could very well be a cyst involvng one of the myriad glands situated in that region. So if your gynecologist is not worried, then it is probably benign & harmless. Perhaps your gynec is too busy & unless specifically questioned about it, possibly has much more 'serious' issues to consider. I would recommend visiting a dermatologist, get it assessed & permanently dealt with. A tiny local injection followed by an ablative electroacautery & excision of the lesion is probably the way forward to achieve closure on this subject!!
Cheers & wish you good luck & Good health. Do practice safe sex always irrespective!
