Had Ovaries Removed. Getting Healed For Spinal Injury. Taking Arbital For Hypertension. Have Sore Throat And Sleeplessness. Suggest?

i am a .62 year old female..6..months back i have had my ovaries removed.last month i fell down and had a spinal injury which is healing.before the fall i was taking arbital h for hypertension and the b.p was 140/90. after spinal injury my b.p shot up and now i am taking telma80 mg and silacar 5mg every day besides i take 500mg calcium and rosuastatin.5mg. now i have chronic sore throat and i have not slept for days.is it some kind of side effect of the b.p drugs? can i revert to arbital h which was o.k for me?

Dear Madam,

Thanks for posting your query on this website. I can fully appreciate your concern for problem.

Your chronic sore throat may be attributable, most likely, to either Telma 80 or, to pre-existing chronic sinusitis, if present.

Since you had no problems with Arbitel-H (which also contains Telma salt in lower dosage) I will therefore advise you to give a trial of switching back to Arbitel-H = one tablet TWICE daily. If sore throat persists after one week, please revert back to me.

Further, steam inhalation 3-4 times daily + saline gargles (with at least 4 tsf of salt in a glass of water) three times daily, will also give significant relief.
