Had Partial Vaginal Hysterectomy, Tacked Bladder. When Can I Start Doing Exercise? Which Activities Can I Do?

Hi I just had a partial vaginal hysterectomy 2 1/2 weeks ago... The Dr also told me today that he tacked my bladder. It has been a blessing in that I am not dribbling and running to the bathroom... My question is exercise... I am walking around the neighborhood some.. I am an avid runner and step aerobics person. When can I start running again and doing step aerobics again... My Dr. said absolutely no weights for 3 months... Is there a website that I can go by with the amount of activities I can do.. I am in great shape at 50..

Hi,
Please follow your doctor's no weights advise until 3 months. He is absolutely right.
You could resume you full work outs (under regular supervision of your doctor) in about 6 months time.

Please don't be in a hurry because the wounds need time to heal completely. 2 1/2 weeks a a very short time that has elapsed since you went for surgery.
