Had Period, Abdominal Pain, Difficulty Passing Stools. Taken Pill And Advil. What Is Wrong?
I took the morning after pill saturday and started my period sunday. On monday around lunch time I got massive stomach pains that have come and gone the past two days. they are so bad I'm doubled over crying which is very abnormal for me with my period. Advil helps with this, but what exactly could this mean? I have had much difficulty passing a bowel movement during this time as well
Hi and thanks for the query, It would be important to know exactly whether you have been experiencing menstrual pains or not. Also knowing exactly when you have been experiencing difficulties to pass stools or not is important. Recent changes in the diet are important to be considered. Eating enough vegetables, fruits and drinking much water/fluids and exercise could be very helpful. It would be important to reanalyze the difficult or painful periods you are experiencing. Excluding an infection is important. I would advice you to have a consultation with a gynecologist. thanks and best regards, Bain LE, MD.
