Had Period Of Extensive Duration, Now No Sigh Of Period. Taken Birth Control. What Is Wrong?
I am a 27 year old female. I use to have a menstrual cycle that would last up to three months with out a break. When I got married a briefly took birth control. It's been six years since I have taken the pill. I don't really have a period anymore. i actually went a whole year with out having one at all. (not even spotting). I kept thinking for a couple of months I could be pregnant. I really wont a baby. I went to a gynecologist and she told me everything was fine. I have no idea what my ovulation period is because I have no idea what day of my cycle I am on. I wish someone would tell me what possibly the problem might be or any suggestions that would help.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. You have been having irregular periods with heavy bleeding on the past. The birth control pills will take at least 2-3 cycles to regularize the flow. Do continue with these as prescribed. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Rakhi Tayal , drrakhitayal@gmail.com
