Had Periods Twice. Breast Is Sore. Sexually Active. Reason?
Hi, I had my period on time a couple of week ago. It seemed like a normal period just a little lighter than usual. My period lasted the usual 5 days then ended. 5 days later I noticed I was spotting and then the next day I began to bleed as if I was on my period again. Throughout my history of having a period, the only time I bled twice in one month was after I had taken plan B. Otherwise my period has usually been every month and even occasionally every other month although since I have been sexually active is has been on a more regular schedule. My breasts have also been a little sore lately. My main concern though is why I am bleeding again. What could be wrong?
Hi, The possible causes for your problem are : -Hormonal imbalance leading to irregular periods. - If there is any possibility of pregnancy, better to rule out miscarriage once. -Local causes like cervical erosion etc. -Endometrial abnormalities, fibroid etc structural causes. So you once consult gynecologist, get examined and go for ultrasound. By these the possible cause for your problem can be identified and treated. Take care.
