Had Protected Sex. Fell From Horse. Have Pelvic Discomfort. Should I Worry?
I am a 21 y.o female and had sex for the 1st time on May 10, we used a condom and had no issues ( that I know of) but I am not on birth control. I felt "normal" May 11 and 12, and on an unrelated note was thrown by a horse and fell also on may 12. No bruises, broken bones and did not hit my head, Just sore and stiff muscles. Starting May 13 I've had mild cramps/ pelvic discomfort which is most noticeable when sitting or laying down. The time span between these feelings of discomfort is increasing however the feeling is still lingering. Should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician, Dr. H S Tak's Response
Hello, You had protected sex with condom, but had first time ,so it may be little discomfort but not pain or discomfort as you are feeling due to sex. It must be only due to your falling from horse back and must be having some pelvic Injury, that's why you are feeling pelvic discomfort on sitting and laying down and increasing gradually with time. Therefore its my advice for you,to go for pelvic X-Rays and CT scan lower abdomen and consult orthopedic surgeon. Hope you will get solution of your problem. Good luck and take care.
