Had Red Hives On Lower Legs With New Welts Appearing On Arms And Face. Taken Avapro And Advil

I am traveling in asia and had very bad red oozing hives on my lower legs. It seemed to get better for a day or 2 and now new welts are appearing higher up on my legs and randomly on arms and face. I have taken avapro for 3 years and did take advil on most days ...whichi have taken for many years as i am an active 66 year old with knee pain.

any thoughts?

Hi,

It seems that you are having eczematous dermatitis on both legs.

There may be some cause.

You may be having atopic diathesis.

Dryness,senile age,soap,dust,pollens,stress,remote subacute infection anywhere in body,poor immunity..etc might be responsible for the condition.

You should be thoroughly examined and investigated by expert for perfect diagnosis and treatment.

Oral antibiotics, antihistaminics and steroid in tappering dose would improve the condition.

However, you consult dermatologist.
