Had Seizure. MRI Of Brain Done, Showed Multiple White Matter In The Bilateral Subcortical And Periventricular Areas. What Is It?
I am 48 and female I have had 2 mri of the brain the first one was due to a seizure the found a cluster of white matter and one small spot nothing to worry about they said, did a follow up mri this one showed multiple white matter seen in the bilateral subcortical and periventricular areas. I have had times of my balance being off along with dropping things ,some memory ,and just not being able to find the words I want to say.could this be ms? They did a lumbar and it was neg. is ms allways picked up through a puncture?
I understand your concerns. I am glad you got your MRI done another time. I wonder if you have had it looked at by a neurologist as it seems to be worsening over time and I have to wonder if it is multiple sclerosis. I also think that you should be able to do your daily activities if you are seizure free, however this not being the case you need to take these medications and consult a neurologist. I also recommend that you do so after the lumbar puncture.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a lovely day!
