Had Severe, Frequent Vomitting. Having Breathing Trouble. Due To Muscle Strain From Vomitting?
I think I got some sort of food poisoning yesterday and vomited about 12 times over the course of about 8 hours. Thats gone now, but now I have trouble breathing , its like I cant take a deep breath and it doesn t really hurt, but its uncomfortable. I really feel like my lungs are only working about 50% though. Could this just be muscle strain from throwing up, or do I need to go see a doctor.
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in the chest and the stress while breathing that you are having is likely to be related to the muscle stress that has happened due to repeated vomiting. The symptoms are likely to subside on steam inhalation, hot fomentation and adequate rest.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
