Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
In case of regular periods, you had intercourse around the time of ovulation. But, as you used
emergency contraceptive pill within 12 hours, the possibility of
pregnancy is less.
Emergency contraceptive pill can alter the menstrual cycle depending on the period of the cycle when the tablet was taken. As you took the pill towards the second half of the cycle, it might have postponed your periods. For more details: http://srsree.blogspot.in/2012/08/emergency-contraceptive-pill-short-term.html.
Possibly, you will get your periods soon. If you do not get your periods on expected date, go for urine pregnancy test once. The half life of
postinor 2 tablet is around 36 to 40 hours.
So, the symptoms you are having, could be due to
hormonal effect during premenstrual phase. Till getting withdrawal bleeding, you can take symptomatic treatment for them.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Sree Gouri SR
