Had Sticky, Smelly Liquid Around Testicle. Got Bumps With Pus Later. Now Having Redness, Itching In The Area.
Hi I'm 50 years old I also had chicken pox when I was five or six. I am having a problem with redness itchy burning in my groin area. It seems to start about every other month just after a sticky slimy smelly ooze around my testier goes away. And then little red bumps pops up on arms legs with puss in them. Then they turn into little sores and then go away. Then about a month or so it returns again and the cycle starts again. This has been going on since I pulled my back about a year ago and the paramedics gave me a shot for my pain. It started the same night.
There is high chance of fungal infection in that area. this may be due to inadequate hygiene of the area. In my patients after complete examination i prescribe oral and local antifungal medicines, with antihistamines to decrease the itch. I suggest you to have a culture done from the scraping of affected area. Depending on type of fungus or bacteria (if any) actual treatment can be started. Do maintain a good hygiene of the region.
Do consider a positive feedback as a credit to my work. Let me know if you have any further questions.
