hello
i appreciate your concern ,with proper guidance certainly we can improve your mother quality of life.
you need to go for quality of life assessment ,its nothing but set of question ,and based on patient response can decide her present status and set goal for short term and long term
rehabilitation programme.
if you will provide your mother present dependency level and what all area you want her to improve ,i can very well provide set of exercise ,do's n dont .
at persent you start with simple exercise like just sit to stand (with support of care taker or any wall mounted hand rail ,walker ) 10 to 20 times
moving hand up and down with help of over head pully or just give any long stick ask her to hold that can give minimal assistants for right side then move up and down.
catch and throw a ball
moving ankle joint up ,down and rotation
moving leg up and down
bridging exercise
etc
their are steps of doing exercise and difficult to provide without actually seeing patient.
kindly provide area in which you want to improve (ADL)
i will be happy to help you out.
