Had Tubal Ligation. Morning Sickness, Tired And Missed Periods. Could I Be Pregnant?
I had a TL 2 years ago. Last month I was having morning sickness and was very tired, my menstrual came a few days late and was very light. For October I felt something and thought it was my period, but it was only a brownish color discharge when I rushed to the rest room. So I missed my period and now my breast are leaking and I'm craving things..is this normal? Could I be pregnant??
Thanks for query on hcm. There is no chances of pregnancy because already TL is done. You can confirm the pregnancy by urine pregnancy test and even blood hcg level,USG. Otherwise start b12,folic acid,D3,other vitamins, minerals supplements. Intra muscular injections of b12,folic acid is advisable. Consult your doctor for further guidance.
Hi, Welcome to HCM, Tubal ligation, is a very effective method of sterilization, but failure of procedure can still happen, depending on the technique used. It is better you do pregnancy test at home and also consult your Doctor, whether it comes positive or negative. There are possibility of some other hormonal disturbances also, which your Doctor can rule out by doing clinical examination, blood tests, and Scan. Hope I have answered. Dr H Hamdani
