Had Unprotected Sex. Me And Partner Have A Lump With Pus And Redness In Our Pubic Regions. Cause, Prevention And Treatment?
Hello, i am writting on behalf of my boyfriend and i. Last week, we had unprotected sex and he had not told me he had a lump growing on his pubic hairarea as a result, i found a small cyst about my clitoris skin. The cyst was a lump that popped like a pimple and is now going away. the lump in his pubic hair area looks sore and has puss and blood coming out and looks more like an open wound. this has happened before, please help.

Hello,Thanks for your query. REGARDING the pubic cyst which gets burst and leads sore latter,mainly due to hair root (follicullitis) bacterial infection, It will spread through skin to skin contact like sexual intercourse. LIKE your cyst close to clitoris also ,But the sexually transmitted infection shows the lump will be in the inguinal area (bubo) Usually bilateral,painful .Anyway you had unprotected sex with your boyfriend in mind both of you have undergo blood investigation for STI.

Cause is probably bacterial infection such as folicultiis but also STD can be considered. I suggest not to manipulate with these lesions. You need local or sytemic antibiotic treatment. ALso both of you hould do STD testing. Best prevention is condom using and not having sex while there are signs of infection. WIsh you good health.
