Had Unprotected Sex. Noticed A Ball Like Bump On The Inner Lips Of My Vagina. What Could This Be? Concerned

I had unprotected sex about two days ago and have been spotting ever since and just recently I noticed a ball like bump on the inner lips of my vagina, what could this be? It does not itch, nor does it hurt in any way except when you try to pop it. When you put pressure on it, it just fills up with more blood and becomes more irritated

Hi dear user,

Thanks for your query.

Contact bleeding after intercourse can be due to some infection or some other cervical pathology. You may require a thorough gynecological examination and a few investigations including pap smear and cervical biopsy.

Small ball like bump on vaginal lips may be some infected cyst.

In my opinion, you should get a gynecological examination done to find out exact cause and plan your management accordingly.

I hope this information is helpful and informative to you.

Thanks.
