Had Unprotected Sex, Took Pill, Experienced Cramps, Red/brown Discharge. Did The Pill Cause Period To Be Late? Pregnant?

I had unprotected sex, I took the morning after pill shortly after. I ve had my cycle on the 19th for the last 3 months. And now I m 4 days late. I have experienced cramps. And today I noticed a some light red/brown discharge. Did the pill cause my period to be late. Or is there a chance I might be pregnant ?

Thanks for consulting us.
Both conditions are possible. You must rule out pregnancy by doing a pregnancy test. If this is negative & periods do not start within 7 days you must go for a blood pregnancy test for further information. Next step would be a trans-vaginal ultrasound.
