Had Viral Sore Throat, Fever. Given Lidiocaine. Gums Are Red And Bleeding. What Should Be Done?

Hi my son had a real bad viral sore throat 3 days passed by and he had a canker sore in his moth with a fever we took him to the dr and he said give him lidiocaine for the sore throat but now his gums are really red and are bleeding what can i do to start helping him he keeps crying

From the details provided,age of child has not mentioned.

Bleeding gums are symptomatic of gum infections.

Get his teeth cleaned by a dentist.

Use chlorhexidine mouthrinses to gargle.

Maintain oral care.

Brush and floss teeth as well as tongue regularly.

Take fruits and leafy vegetables.

Vitamin c as well as iron supplements has to be administered.
Take care.
