Had Weight Gain And Itchy Scalp After Having Synthoid For Hashimotos. How To Cure?
I am a 48 year old female with Hashimotos, diagnosed 10 months ago. I have put on 13 kilos in 5 months on synthoid and also have a major major burning itchy scalp problem. Extreme hair loss stoped when I started medication and menopause meds at the same time. No one can help me with the scalp problem and it is driving me crazy.

I can understand your problem for the itchy scalp you can try second generation long acting antihistamine " Levocetirizine 10 mg three times in day for 10 days, this will stop the itching, for the weight gain this may not be due to medicine or disease but could be genetic problem you can control it by exercise and low calorie diet, keep your stress level low have nice day.
