Hard Lump In Back Of Neck, Butt Crack And Pain In Tip Of Spine. What Could This Be?

Hello my husband has had a big hard lump on the back of his neck but the tip of his spine its very painful sometimes more when he lays down for bed hes had it for about a month now but. just a week ago he noticed another lump but this time on the bottom of his spine near the top of his butt crack should i take him to get checked out ? He is very stubborn and hard to convince to go see a doctor
