Hard Lump On Right Hip Bone, Mobile And Hard, Protruding From Skin. What Could Be This?

I woke up today and found a pea sized hard lump about an inch inward of my right hipbone. It does not hurt, isn't red, and seems too far below the skin to be any type of skin infection. It is mobile and very hard. You can also see it protruding from the skin which is odd because it appeared so suddenly. What could it be?

Hi

as the lump so small which does not hurt, not red and quite mobile then it is unlikely to be something serious. most likely fibroma.

you can watch it for next few weeks to see if it change in size or become painful or any other abnormality that makes you worry

otherwise you can see your doctor for further assessment.

take care
