Hard Painful Lump On The Neck. What Is It?

Hi, I have a single hard, colorless, and rather painful bump on the right side of my neck . Its about the size of a pinky tip and has been here for a couple days. I thought it was a blemish but my skin hasn t turned red and a whitehead hasn t appeared yet (they normally do). This also hurts to touch way more than pimples would, to the point where its a little painful to turn my head very far to either side. It seems like it s hard under the surface, not right on top. What is it?

Hi there
I think you need to see your doctor to have a look as it could be an enlarged lymph node, although you havent mentioned any history of minor trauma or if you felt feverish but i mean it could be nothing like for example it can be follicultis.
so thats why i am emphasising on a visit to your GP.
thanks alot and all the best.
