Has A Small Lump On Left Testicle. Have Pain On The Leg. Now Lump Is Growing. No Puss. Problem?

hi, trying to see if there maybe reason to be worried. father just told me he ntcd a small lump on left testical a few weeks back. he has had some pain going down left leg. today while in shower, he ntcd lump grew. it is now size of a quarter. lump is not hard. no puss coming out. should we be concerned? please advise.

Good Day! Any mass in the testicle is a cause of worry. I would suggest getting a testicular ultrasound with doppler studies. I would want to rule out a malignancy or cancer. Other more common conditions would be spermatocoeles and epididymal cysts which are not a cause of concern.

Testicular masses and cancer usually doesn't cause pain and symptom would only be a palpable mass. Thank you very much.
