Has Recurring Bronchitis And Upper Respiratory Issues. Suggestions?
I am looking for a good internist for our daughter going to ole miss. We need one that she can see within a day do calling usually. We also need one that will listen to her. She has recurring bronchitis, upper respiratory issues. She needs to sometimes follow up repeatedly for the same issue, it is hard to break her cycles of fevers and symptoms in the cycle. We have seen pulmonary, allergist and ENT. She knows what works and is having a hard time getting anyone in Oxford to work with her. Mom Kim
Good afternoon. Your daughter could be having bronchial asthma. Its important for you and her to know what she is allergic to and avoid it when necessary. Tests can be carried out to know which substances she is allergic to. Its also important to let her know what to do in case of attack for example how to use salbutamol inhaler and what medication to take on daily basis. Its important for her to have card that indicates that she is asthmatic and closet people around her should know. You can check with ministry of health for list of available internists in ole miss
if all the other options have been worked out you may think of food theory asit says any food can react at any time at any age and it is not treated by medicines unles you withdraw that food the main culprits are milk wheat potato chana nuts egg rice start with withdawing f milk and diary completely as they are animal proteins and they are not competible with human proteins and cause these problems if you dont get response in 3 -4 wk get blood serum tests for foodspecific antibodies for milk wheat potato chana rice nuts egg and withdraw the foods your symptomps will reverse in few wk and till you can use medicine according to the symptoms as you have been doing already
