Have CHF And PPH And An Enlarged Spleen. Also Have Hypertension.Now Have Severe Headache, Blurry Vision, Extreme Fatigue And Dizziness. Do I Need To Visit A Doctor?

Hi I am a 41 yo female with CHF and PPH and an enlarged spleen. I have also had problems with intercranial hypertension. This morning I woke up with a severe headache, blurry vision, extreme fatique and dizziness. I am haveing problems staying awake for longer then about 45 mins at a stretch. I really hate going to the ER and I feel like the hospital sometimes is my second home. I am unable to get hold of my Dr. My family is insisting I go to the Er and I really want to stay home and try and get into the Dr office on monday. What is your opinion>

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. They are concerning enough for you to be checked out to understand exactly what is going on. Of course no one likes to be in the hospital all the times but it is worth making sure we catch and treat any disease early for best results and quick recovery. I strongly recommend you go to the ER and if nothing is too concerning fro examination, then reassurance is worth the trip to the ER.
