Have CT Scan. Can Any Online Doctor Help Me To Read The Report?
Dear Docter My CT Scan report of chest says 1, Apical pleural tags are seen on both sides, 2.Fine fibrotic bands in both lower lobes, 3. Cacification left suprahilar lympnodes are seen 4. No other significant abnormality is detected My questions are 1. Please explain these terms in laymans language. 2. what are the causes . 3 line of action here after this. I am yet to consult a professional docter. pl advice thanking you Sanjay

I am not sure how to explain that in a layman's language but the bottomline is that your investigation report reads that your chest is normal. You do not need to do anything further unless you have a functional chest abnormality like wheezing, asthma, etc, which may not be detected in an CT scan. I hope you visit with a pulmonologist with this report.
