Have Dizziness Without Vertigo, Sinus Problem, 7 Month Pregnant. Suggestion?
I just wanted to know if dizziness may be a sign of a problem during my seventh month of pregnancy. I have had it for 2 days now. It is pretty bad when bending down to pick something up. I also have just been feeling weird like dizzy feeling without vertigo . I may have a sinus infection but I can't take anything (that I know of) for it.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. If I were your treating doctor for this dizziness during 7th month of pregnancy I would come up with following possibilities , these includes. 1 Hypertension , diagnosis can be confirmed by examination of blood pressure as this is a most common cause of dizziness in pregnant woman . 2 Hypotension , diagnosis can be confirmed by measurement of blood pressure both lying and standing position as postural hypotension is more prominent in pregnant woman. 3 Anemia again this is most common cause of dizziness so hemoglobin level is important , so go for this examination. Least chance of tension , if you think relax . In my opinion you should consult a gynecologist and get his opinion at this stage. Good luck. Dr. HET
