Hello dear...
It's good to know that you are taking all necessary precautionary measures for GORD.
Management includes:
1. Voice rest..as
laryngitis will get aggravated on speaking too much.
2. Gargle with warm salt water to relieve throat pain
3.
Proton pump inhibitors like
Omeprazole, etc to take care of GORD.
4. Antihistamine preparations can also be used to provide symptomatic relief in Laryngitis.
Surgical treatment of GORD includes Fundoplication, in which the upper part of the stomach is wrapped around the lower esophageal sphincter to strengthen the sphincter and prevent acid reflux
Also avoid consuming irritating substances such as acidic & rich foods, caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol.
Try to sleep on the left side, or with your upper body raised.
If symptoms still persist, it will be better to
consult a Gastroenterologist.
There is no need to worry...you will be fine
Wish you good health & a speedy recovery.
Thanks & take care.
