Have H. Pylori Infection. Taking Ezos, Domstal, Lactobacil. CT Scan Shows Kidney Stone. Total Cure?
I was diagnosed through endoscopy that I have H.pylori infection in stomach . Undergone HP kit treatment for 10 days with other medicines as follows;. HP KIT 3-3 two times Tab - Domstal (10) BB - BL - BD Cap - Lactobacil 2 times Traicane syrup 4 times 2 spoon Now on another 15 days course going on consisting the medicine as under; Tab Ezos (40) BB - BD Tab - Domstal (10) BB - BL - BD Cap - Lactobacil 2 times All medicines are over yesterday. Now doctor has advised me to take Happi 10mg daily before break fast (BB). I also have a problem of GERD and Hital hernia . One more think to add is that I have also gone through the CT Scan . Its report shows that I have 4 mm non obstructive kidney stone in right side and one sub centimeter in left side. My question is 1. Can I will be totally cured from H.pylori 2. Does Happi 10 mg have any side effects on any digestive system or liver or on body. 3. Does this antacid increased the chances of more kidney stones? 4. Any medicine to dissolve Kidney stone? Yes, the anti H. pylori treatment that you are taking will eliminate the infection. The associated symptoms of GERD will also be resolved by anti H. pylori treatment.
2. Tablet Happi is the market name of preparation of pantoprazole (proton pump inhibitor, PPI). This drug is effective in relieving the symptoms of GERD and it does not have any significant side effect on the gastro-intestinal system.
3. The antacids do not increase the chances of kidney stones.
4. Management of kidney stones depends on the size of the stones. Small stones (less than 6 mm) can be removed by drinking plenty of water. If the size is greater than 6 mm and/ or causing obstruction, it has to be removed surgically.
Consult a nephrologist for the management of the kidney stones.
Continue the anti H. pylori treatment and PPI.
The treatment is effective for eradicating the infection.
