Have MCTD, Diabetes And Hypertension. Had UTI, Went To Kidneys And Brain. Unable To Go Down Steps. Suggest?
I have MCTD, diabetes, and hypertension. I had a UTI a couple of months ago. It went to my kikneys and then to my brain and most likely everywhere else, since then I have not been able to ride the down escallator(sp?). I am ok on the up, also I do not feel able to go down steps when there are more than 4 or so. Will this go away on its own or should I see a neurologist? When I had the UTI I was taken off Imuran 150. The MCTD has become much more symptomatic. Do you think going back on it would worth the risk of getting another infection?

It appears as if you are getting neuropathy symptoms . I think you should see a neurologist for this . For going back to Azoran I think you need to see a rheumatologist for this.

Hi, it appears that you had an infection of the internal ear, you may need to have culture and sensitivity of the urine and MRI etc for diagnosis.
If urine infection is treated after the test, it will be cleare completely, and controle the spread of the infection. Thank you.
