Have A Bald Spot On The Head And Metal Taste. Have A Mesh In The Stomach By A Surgery Earlier. Does These Have Any Relation?

I'm 27 years old had a bald spot appear the size of a quater on the back of my head. It is now the size of a baseball. I also have noticed a weird metal taste in my mouth and not sure what it is from. Two years ago I had a surgery and they put mesh inside of my stomach. I have not been to the doctor since the surgery. Could the bald spot on the back of my head and the metal taste be a result from the mesh I have inside of me? Could there be an infection?

Hi, You are 27, you have a bald spot on the back of the head, it is growing. there is mesh in the stomach after a surgery.
You have got a metal taste in the mouth, it may not be due to the mesh, because it is not absorbable. the spot in the head is due to defeciency, or anxiety, or an infection.called soborrhic dermatitis.
An injection of hydrocortisone, or any steroid will help the situation, and simultaneously supportive therapy should be given.
Metalic taste could be due to dental infection, or dental bleeding,I advise you to consult a dentist. Thank you.
