Hi. I ran into a cabinet 7 months ago and hit the front left side of my forehead. I had a big knot and it bled. My head has been very sore across the top and down the back of my ever since. I have a soft knot on the top back of my head. Also I have vision problems now and horrible headaches.

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. It is unlikely that the head injury sustained 7 months ago would lead to any serious problems now. However, since you are having persistent symptoms, it may be worthwhile doing a CT scan of the brain.

We mainly want to exclude any internal bleeding.

In the meanwhile, you can take medications for pain relief such as diclofenac or ibuprofen tablets.

I hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

Best wishes,
