Have A Bump On The Toes. Applied Anti Fungal Cream But No Use. What Is The Cure For This?
I have small red bumps on two toes on my left foot. The anti-fungal cream I'm using has no effect in getting rid of them. They usually only appear during the summer months. When they appear, they only last for two to three weeks, and then they go away. When they start to disappear, a few of them start having callouses develop around them. Eventually the red dots and the callouses totally disappear.
Hi, It seems that you are having candidal intertrigo toe web of left foot. It is fungal infection caused by candida albicans. It is relapsing disease. Due to wetness by perspiration or water it is exacerbated. Blood test should be done to rule out DM or any other immunocompromised condition. Avoid soap bath. Wash the feet in dettol water. Take antifungal like itraconazole or ketoconazole for 2 weeks. Apply antifungal cream like clotrimazole or miconazole. Improve immunity for the prevention of relapse. However, you consult dermatologist for perfect diagnosis and treatment.
Regards.
