Have A Lump Near The Anus Which Weeps Blood Occasion. Took Antibiotics. What To Do?
hi I'm 52yr old male I have had a lump like a pimple for about 12months near my anus on the left side which on occasion weeps blood n pus. I have been to the doctors twice and they prescribe antibiotics. It heals up but then comes back. Recently a lump appeared on my scrotum left side and blood and pus drained out alot.It feels like a vein running from back to front? Any ideas?
Hi and thanks for the query, it s very important to know what this lump is. It could be a hemorroid, a cyst, and abscess or a fistula. An appropriate and careful clinical evaluation is necessary to make a diagnosis which shall determine the treatment approach. The treatment might require something else other than anti biotics, could require specific types or anti biotics or some special technique, life or procedure. getting consulted by your primary care physician for an appropriate diagnosis and effective and sure treatment is my advice. thanks and best regards, Luchuo, MD.

Hello, Thanks for the query, It appears like you are suffering from Pilonidal sinus, It needs surgical excision. Just antibiotics wont help much. Please meet a dermatologist.
