Have A Lump Sensation In The Throat After Root Canal Extraction
hi my name is Leanne I have been experiencing vertigo for 7 months it started after I had a tongue biopsy done for a lump sensation in my throat that I had for 18 months and after many test and medication nothing was working. I had had a root canal at the same time this lump sensation occurred and have had pain ever since it has been filed down three times my dum is tender and it bleeds occassionaly I also have a yucky tast coming from that area I cant chew on that side. I have seen jaw specialist neurologist many doctors through many hospital visits and am currenlty seeing a neurological physio therapist I am not getting better could it be caused from my root canal as I am considering having it removed do you have any advise I am getting desperate.
hello welcome to HCM The pain and yucky tast coming from that area indicates infection inside the tooth. you should get IOPA xray done to reveal the status of tooth and infection. if you are not able to chew and pain is still there, that means your tooth is still infected and has to clean properly. so visit your dentist and get the treatment done again but if the tooth is severely destroyed then you can go for extraction of that tooth. once you are relief from infection or pus then you will not experience anytype of tender or pus coming out from that tooth. no your lump sensation is not related to RCT. thank you
