I am a moderate diabetic and on Gemer-1 before breakfast, Ramistar 2.5 mg after lunch and Ecospirin AV75 and Glycomet 500 mg sustained release. All one tablet each every day. Of late there is a bit of pain on the foot sometimes on one leg and sometimes the other. It lasts for sometime, esp. morning when I get up. Is it because of any of these drugs? blood pressure normal. Hello,

You're an elderly diabetic with longstanding history of the disease.
Prolonged use of Metformin is associated with Vitamin B12 deficiency.
This may cause myalgia like symptoms.
With B12 supplements the symptoms may improve.
Diabetic peripheral neuropathy is also a well known complication of Diabetes.
Control of Diabetes and insulin may improve the symptoms.
