Have A Polyp, Have Spotting. Can I Delay My Period Now?

hi..
i recently found out that i have a 5mm polyp. due to which i am having spottings on and off even after my period which started on 21st of last month.
now we are planning to go to a religious place and i dont want to have my period there. can i take a medicine to delay my period? will it have any adverse affect on my cycle?
can the same medicine stop spotting as well during that period?

Hi thanks for your question.
Yes you can delay you next due period up to a point you want. You have take medicine called as Norethisteronea female sex hormone three times a day 3 days before your expected periods and continue the medicine till you want your periods to remain postponed. No this medicine will not stop spotting due to polyp .You have to get it removed by a gynaecologist before your planned journey. This medicine doesn't have much side effects if not taken for prolonged periods.
