What Causes Delayed Periods After Surgical Removal Of Endometrial Polyps?

Hi Doctor, I had uterine polyp procedure 3 weeks ago. Today Iam 6 days late period, is it normal? I had symptoms 1 week before period like: having pimples, easy to get cold...does the polyp removal effect the period delay? I have no spotting. Iam waiting for your answer with my thank you! Le

Hi I think it can happen sometimes due to stress factor also. Any type of physical or mental stress can lead to delayed periods. You can wait for one more week. Also see if you are taking any hormonal treatment. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
