Have A Sharp Pain Under The Arm, Towards The Belly Button. No Appendix, Gall Bladder. Suggestions?

I discovered two days ago that when I picked up my grandbaby that I had this horrid sharp pain on my left side not completely under my left arm but over a bit towards my belly button under my ribs..and I noticed if I moved the wrong way laying down it would have sharp pain again as well..i have no idea what it could be..i have no appendix..no gall bladder..what else could it be?

Hi,
From symptoms it seems that you might be having some muscle strain of abdominal recti muscles going into spasm while having movements of these muscles.
Apply some muscle relaxant cream locally.
Take analgesic with muscle relaxant medicine for 2-3 days.
Ok and take care.
