Have A Small Bump At The Bottom Of The Penis. Have Minor Irritation. Which Specialist Should Be Reached?

i am a male age 60 and have girlfiend age 53 we do getogether for conversation and good times i recently (yesterday noticed a small bump or ingrown hair or hum (wondering what this could be as it is like at the bottom of penis shaft and on the underside of it also has minor irratation when i sit i do plan on seeing a doctor but am unsure which type of doctor for this can u advise me on anything. thank you

Hi and sorry to hear about what you are going through right now.

My honest advice is that you should start with your family physician or your primary care doctor. After a comprehensive interview, examination, and maybe some laboratory tests, he will be able to tell you which is the best doctor for you to see if he cannot solve the problem.
This will save you long waits to see specialists if not really needed, and also, it would be more cost efficient.
