Have A Small Red Spot In The Thigh. HSV2 Negative. Not Hurting, Itching. Recommendations?

Hello, I have a question, I am a female who recently discovered a small red spot in my inner thigh, about 4 months ago I was tested for hsv2 and was negative, I had been sexually active in a long time before then. My partner also has been tested as hsv2 negative. He is concerned about the red spot on my inner thigh, it does not hurt or itch at all. My sense in that it is nothing to worry about, any feedback is appriciated. Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
The condition can be cherry angioma, purpura, granuloma annulare etc
As the spot is asymptomatic there is nothing to be worried about.
At this point you should observe the spot for any increase in size/symptoms etc. Please visit a qualified dermatologist for proper diagnosis if it does not resolve.
Hope this helps.
