Have A Tampon During Urination And A Very Bad Odor. Had A Yeast Infection. What To Do Now?
I had my period 3 weeks ago. Following my cycle I thought i had gotten a yeast infection. I did not go to the doctor thinking it could just be odor from just having my period. Today however, when I finally had it in my head I can't take this odor, I was going to schedule an appointment. Then when I had to urinate this afternoon, a tampon came out. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was light brown and had that odor I had been smelling. I had to have had it in for two weeks. What should I do? I don't feel any bad symptoms right now. Should I call for an appointment with my GYN?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The bad odor and the discharge that you have is suggestive of a vaginal infection. This needs local vaginal pessaries and oral antibiotic treatment for full cure. Do consult a gynecologist for proper treatment. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
