Have Abdomen Pain. Delayed Periods. Took Ipill. Pregnancy Test Negative. How Do I Check To Rule Out Pregnancy?

Hi.i took an ipill on my 8th day just as a safety measure even though there was no actual intercourse.
I have a slight pain in lower abdomen like I have during periods.i checked for a pregnancy test a day after I missed my period.it was negative.
1.what are the chances I could still be pregnant?
How do I rule out pregnancy completely?
2.how long can I expect my periods to be delayed.i am late only by a day as of today.

Dear user, welcome to healthcare magic.
The I pills are effective only after unprotected sex, specially th first 24 hours. They have no effect if pregnancy has already occurred.
You say there was no intercourse and the pregnancy test is negative so your chances are very weak ( mostly you are not pregnant ).
To rule out pregnancy you may either have a blood test for hcg, or wait for spontaneous menses to occur.
You may expect your period to delay upto one week without worrying as long as you are using an effective contraceptive method.
Good luck.
