Have Abnormal Bleeding, Loss Of Hair And Paleness Due To Mass In Uterus And Endometriosis. Do I Need Endometrial Ablation?
I currently have a mass in my uterus. I have had severe endometriosis all my life, with two laproscopic surgeries. I am 54 and went through menopause because I didn't bleed for a year. I have had abnormal bleeding off and on for over a year. However the last two months has been intense pain and ongoing bleeding. When I donated blood my iron was down to 45. My doctor first said let's do an endometrial ablation but now says she should put in a coil. My doctors in the past have said to never get this type of birth control especially with endometriosis. I feel I will have to bleed to death before they do something. I am loosing my hair and I am very pale. I need another opinion and some help?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that you are having severe bleeding, and hemoglobin is becoming still low. Even the anemia also a cause of this sort of bleeding. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have blood transfusion, and then treatment to improve the blood. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms iron injections , iron oral preparations, and protein supliments. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
