Have Active Keloid On Chest, Itching, Inflammation. Can I Take Diprovate?
Hi I have a friend who has active keloid on his chest since a year. Recently itis super itchy and inflammed while another keloid is in the formation in its vicinity.As he is off for a vacation for 12 days can we recommend diprovate n as an ointment and Tab Allegra 180 mg OD (he is fasting for his Ramzan) for 13 days and then look at cortocosteroid intrakeloid injection therapy?

hi itching and inflammation around keliod indicates secondary infection.first treat with antibiotic twice daily and use a anti inflammatory twice daily along with atarax 25 mg at night as allegra 18o mg in the morning.after inflammation is subsided try intralesionl steriods once in a fortnight for 4-6 sittings according to size of lesions
