Have Acute Tonsillitis, Swollen Throat, Adenoid. On Allegra By ENT Specialist. Has Mucous With Blood In Stools. Suggestions?
Hello doctor, my 3 year (3yrs4months)old son already has acute tonsillitis (large swollen throat glands) and adenoid issue from past one year or so. Recently he has been given allegra suspension by an ENT specialist after treatment from several doctors. From past 2 days he had bleeding in stools. Last afternoon, he had mucous with blood in stools. earlier he was using CHEERIO TOOTHPASTE AND FROM LAST FOUR MONTHS HE USES KIDODENT TOOTHPASTE. I just wish to know whether either of the above toothpastes cause the tonsillitis or blood in stools. Please suggest the best safe toothpaste for toddlers. He also has severe cold /cough always because of acute tonsillitus. Please also let me know if allegra suspension causes side-effects like bleeding of stools. also that that i was giving him only 1/4 - 1/2spoon coorg honey with 1 glass milk only once a day for last 25 days.
