What Causes A Flesh Coloured Tag Near The Uvula Of A Child?
my 8 year old son has a small flesh coloured growth near his uvula and tells me he feels like he has something in his throat. He suffers quite badly from tonsillitis and has a swollen adenoid although it is a few months now since his last bout of tonsillitis. He appears to be very blocked in his nose as well. What could this be please
The small growth that you are worrying about is not unusual so far tonsillitis and adenoids are concerned. And let me assure you that there is nothing to worry about.
Your son in an active phase of tonsillitis and you need to consult the pediatrician. I'd also like to add that talk to the pediatrician regarding an investigation named throat swab culture and sensitivity.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
