Have An Extra Bone Growth In Wrist. Why Does It Pain? Advise?

I feel that I have an extra growth of a bone in my wrist . Whenever I press on it, it hurts. It hurts to make a fist or to move the hand quickly like the other hand. I have been taking medications for it prescribed by the doctor famotidine and iburopen, but it s not helping. The pain feels the same everyday. At times I feel that the bone has grown even more than before. Any word of advice about what I should do?

Hi ,

Diagnosis : GANGLION...this is not bony growth. It is cyst with gel like substance inside.

TREATMENT: Excision is the best treatment. But i would like to mention here that ganglion is known for recurrence.
