Have Autoimmune Hepatitis, Liver Cirrhosis, Diabetes, Fatty Liver, Enlarged Spleen. Bruising, Pigmentation On Arms

I have Auto Immune Hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver, diabetes, enlarged and fatty liver, and enlarged spleen. None of this is related to alcohol. my hands and feet are cold all of the time and my hands and feet get so cold the turn blue when its 80 to 85 degrees out side. I chill all of the time and now my arms are showing a lot of bruising and pigmentation on my arms and also some pigmentation on my legs. What do you think this all means?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

In cirrhosis of liver, there might be disturbed clotting function of blood due to impaired liver function.

In cirrhosis, prothrombin time and INR (international normalized ratio) get prolonged and increased respectively. Due to this there is bleeding into small capillaries beneath the skin. This is seen as pigmentation under skin and is notable in arms and legs. This is an intermittent condition and your blood clotting parameters need assessment.
Hope this helps.
