Hello madam,
I notice that you are cycles are prolonged over a long period of time. It could be due to various causes or sometimes it's very difficult to establish "a particular cause". The common causes for prolonged bleeding include structural problems, such as uterine fibroids or polyps, Hypothyroidism, Advanced liver disease, Heavy menstrual flow, smoking, Depression, Chronic uterine infection. If the symptoms doesn't subside please consult a Gynaecologist. A battery of investigations may be required to make a diagnosis. Wish you good health. Take care.
Best regards Dr Swaroop
